Expansion of the Prevalje Retail Park Completed

The retail park in Prevalje, Slovenia, which forms part of the ZDR QIF Fund portfolio, has been successfully expanded with a new development phase. The newly completed building increases the total lettable area by almost 1,000 m² and introduces three attractive tenants to the retail zone.

The acquisition of three retail parks in northern Slovenia, located in close proximity to the Austrian border, marked ZDR Investments’ entry into its sixth European market and represented an important step in further strengthening the geographic diversification of the ZDR QIF Fund portfolio. The retail parks were acquired with a clear long-term development vision, focusing in particular on sustainability initiatives and the gradual expansion of retail space.

A part of this strategy was the installation of a 300 kWp photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the Slovenj Gradec retail park. The photovoltaic system contributes to lower operating costs, increased energy self-sufficiency of the asset, and an overall improvement in the property’s environmental profile.

In December, the new phase of the Prevalje retail park was officially opened. The expansion added 939 m² of new lettable space, enabling the enhancement of the tenant mix with attractive brands while simultaneously broadening the range of services available to local residents. The project combines economic value creation for the fund with the long-term development of the locality and its retail functions.
