Largest Acquisition in the History of the ZDR Public Fund

Investment company ZDR Investments completed a major acquisition for the portfolio of the ZDR Public fund in December – the retail park AVENTIN Shopping Znojmo. The property was completed in 2019 and designed by the renowned architectural studio BEHF Architects. The project meets the highest standards not only in construction quality but also in sustainability and energy efficiency.

The building holds an A-grade Energy Performance Certificate (PENB A). A rooftop photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 496 kWp has been installed, and electric vehicle charging stations are available for visitors in the parking area.

The tenant mix includes well-established brands such as BILLA, dm drogerie, Super zoo, Sinsay, House, CCC, Dr. Max, DATART, and McDonald’s, all of which contribute to long-term, stable footfall. Thanks to its strategic location in Znojmo’s dominant retail zone, the property represents a well-established shopping destination with strong long-term potential.

The retail park in Znojmo fully aligns with the fund’s investment strategy, which focuses on stabilised assets anchored by grocery tenants and everyday retail,” adds David Čubr, CEO of ZDR Investments.

Following the completion of this acquisition, the ZDR Public fund’s portfolio has expanded to 28 properties with a total value of nearly CZK 4.5 billion. The fund’s average remaining lease term (WAULT) now reaches 6 years, while portfolio occupancy has long been close to 100%.
